Mainely Weavers
About
Mainely Weavers Study Group began in the mid 1980s with a group of weavers sharing ideas and resources. As more people became interested, study groups formed and shaped the group as it is now.
Meetings were hosted at weavers homes until early 1993 at which time the group began meeting at the Ocean View Retirement Community in Falmouth, Maine. In 2004 we moved to our current location St Mary the Virgin Church.
The group currently has 40+ members and learns by focusing on a theme or topic, mini-workshops, an occasional exhibit of members work, and general support and instruction to both new and experienced weavers.
